While attending a concert or seeing live music of any kind is fun in itself, the venue can make all the difference. Here in Arizona, there are a variety of great venues where one can go to see live music, especially now that things are starting to open back up following the pandemic. These venues offer both intimate and larger settings, in addition to catering to all kinds of music fans.
THE VAN BUREN:
The Van Buren, located off of E Van Buren St and 4th Ave in downtown Phoenix, is one of the newer venues in Arizona. Opening in 2017, the Van Buren has hosted shows of all types, as well as some community events such as New Year’s Eve parties and much more. Once a vintage auto dealership, this venue was transformed into a 1,800 person capacity concert venue that draws in fans of music everywhere.
THE CRESCENT BALLROOM:
Just up the street from the Van Buren is the Crescent Ballroom. Although the Crescent Ballroom is a smaller venue with a capacity of roughly 550 people, there is no shortage of live music here. With live music every single day, the Crescent Ballroom also contains a lounge with a full bar and kitchen. This venue has seen many notable acts come onto its stage, including Manchester Orchestra and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
THE MARQUEE THEATRE:
The Marquee Theatre, located in Tempe, Arizona, is another great place to see live music in Arizona. Slightly smaller than the Van Buren, the Marquee Theatre can hold a capacity of up to 1,500 people and also has four full-service bars inside the venue. If you are looking for an awesome place to see a concert, the Marquee Theatre is a good way to go. Although there are tons of amazing venues in Arizona, these three are just a few of the captivating venues where one can go to see live music.
