Music Instructor Job Summary

Description:

Scottsdale Music Academy is hiring for Guitar, Voice, and Piano music instructors position for private lessons. Formal education not mandatory. Multi instrumentalist a huge plus. Music instructor minimum requirement of 2-5 years of private lesson teaching experience. As a Scottsdale Music Academy music instructor must be able to teach all ages and versed in all popular styles of music.

Ability to interact effectively with children and adults
Experience working with youth and or/beginning musicians
Must demonstrate an understanding of music concepts, have strong aural skills, and practical techniques as it relates to the instrument. Must be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students
Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a lesson
Comfortable working with a variety of personalities
Planning to remain in the area long-term
Ability to pass a background check

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Teaching Private Music Lessons: 2 years (Required)
